MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC ART by architect I.M. PEI DOHA QATAR
The Museum of Islamic Art designed in 2000 by architect I.M. Pei and is situated on a man-made
island in Doha's lagoon. The building's architecture was inspired by Cairo's Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque.
The collection includes ancient Qurans, ceramics, carpets, calligraphy, metal work, costumes, jewelry,
